Passenger Terms and Conditions for GO Easy Rides

This Passenger Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which passenger agree to use the taxi booking services provided by GO Easy Rides.

Platform Services

GO Easy Rides is New Zealand owned company,  solely a taxi booking platform. The Platform allows Passengers to book rides with local professional taxi drivers either independent or employed by third-party taxi companies. We are a company who aim to provide a taxi service at a very competitive prices. Experience a taxi service for the price of a ride share. Taxis will have a NZTA approved camera for your safety. Our drivers will keep 100% of the fare. Theres no commission on the booking and we aim to support our local  taxidrivers and contribute to the local economy.

Ride Booking and Payment

2.1. Passengers can use the App to book rides, view available Drivers, and confirm the price for the ride before completing the booking.
2.2. The price displayed on the App is final, and no additional card processing fees or hidden charges will apply.
2.3. Payment for the ride will be made directly to the Driver at start of the ride. Passengers may choose to pay in cash or with a card.
2.4. GO Easy Rides is not involved in the payment transaction between the Passenger and the Driver. The Platform does not collect any payments or process transactions.Our drivers keep 100% of the fare. Go easy Rides doesn’t take any commission on booking.

Responsibilities of Passengers

3.1. Passengers are responsible for verifying and agreeing to the price of the ride shown on the App before confirming a booking.
3.2. Passengers must pay the agreed fare directly to the Driver at start of the ride, since the price is fixed. Additional requests can be negotiated with the driver.
3.3. Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards the Driver and Comply with all local laws and regulations, including those related to seatbelt use, avoiding prohibited items and following other safety measures.
3.4. Refrain from any illegal activities or inappropriate behaviour during the ride. Alcohol consumption or smoking is prohibited.
3.5  Any disputes regarding the fare or the service must be reported to company.

Driver Responsibilities

4.1. The Driver is responsible for providing safe, lawful, and timely transportation services to the Passenger.
4.2. The Driver will only charge the fare displayed on the App.
4.3. Maintaining valid and current taxi licenses and other permits as required by local laws. Complying with all applicable transportation and safety regulations.
4.4 Ensuring their vehicle is in good working condition and meets all legal and safety standards.

Limitation of Liability

5.1. GO Easy Rides is only a booking platform and does not take responsibility for the actions, services, or conduct of the Drivers.
5.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, GO Easy Rides will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, accident or inconvenience suffered due to the transportation services provided by a Driver.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a booking via the Platform prior to the arrival of the Driver. If You cancel after the Driver has arrived or is on the way, the Driver may impose a cancellation fee. Any cancellation fees are payable directly to the Driver.

Termination of Use

GO Easy Rides reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Passenger’s use of the App for any reason, including but not limited to violation of this Agreement or inappropriate conduct towards Drivers, multiple Fake Bookings or any unlawful activity.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with New Zealand laws.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this Agreement or your use of the Platform can be reported to goeasyrides@gmail.com
